Face to Face
Two profiles, each a separate platter. An encounter shaped by the space between them.

An ongoing conceptual practice exploring the relationships between objects, space, time and perception.
The space between things — the present, the interval, what is temporarily held.
What remains — objects and gestures as traces of an action, encounter or passage of time.
The point where one condition meets another — boundaries, contradictions and shifts in perception.
Two profiles, each a separate platter. An encounter shaped by the space between them.

A study of opposition, completion and the assumption that repetition produces resolution.

An attempt to draw the shape of a year from memory revealed that time was being navigated spatially rather than chronologically. The exercise expanded to others, each producing a different internal geography of the same twelve months.

The present considered as a boundary between what has passed and what has yet to arrive.
