Studio

KÄ Design Studio is a Vancouver-based interior architecture and design practice working across residential and commercial spaces.

The studio approaches each project as a composition of relationships—between architecture and object, material and light, movement and pause.

Rather than beginning with a prescribed aesthetic, the work develops from the conditions of the project itself: its context, constraints, program and possibilities.

Material is treated as more than finish. Proportion, texture, junctions, openings and transitions are considered together to shape how a space is understood and used.

There is an ongoing interest in the less tangible dimensions of space as well—how light changes a surface, how movement alters perception, and how an environment reveals itself over time.

The result is work that is deliberate without being overly resolved: spaces with clarity, character and room for life.
