Milano Espresso Lounge

Milano Espresso Lounge, the flagship location for Milano Coffee Roasters in Vancouver, underwent a change-of-use renovation. The cafe’s brand identity, business strategy, and vision were thoughtfully woven into the conceptual design of the new interior. By preserving many of the existing features from the previous space, we minimized environmental impact and reduced construction waste.

Additionally, we introduced bespoke furniture pieces crafted exclusively for this project, adding a touch of elegance and functionality. A playful feature wall, designed to evoke the rich texture of coffee beans and embody the brand’s essence, serves as a focal point and enhances the overall ambiance.

To cater to various moods and customer needs, we designed four distinct seating areas. These range from cozy, intimate corners for quiet reflection, to communal tables that encourage social interaction, as well as more formal settings suitable for business meetings. This thoughtful layout ensures a versatile and inviting atmosphere for all patrons.
